Hi, I’m Sorcha Reagh, the author of the Sapere series, which is a set of fantasy books about magic, questionable moral choices, and characters who don’t listen to me no matter how many times I rewrite their scenes.
The latest book, Silver Tiers, comes out October 20th, which means I’ll be living on caffeine, missed deadlines, and the faint hope that readers will forgive me for the plot twists I absolutely intended to ruin them with.
I started writing as a kid because I read so much it felt inevitable. I devoured books through high school, but when it came time for university, I chose law school over chasing a writing career-figuring I could always switch later. Now I’m doing both, because I am that overachieving, Type-A eldest daughter stereotype you’ve heard so much about.
I’m also a boy mom, to the cutest toddler I sometimes threaten to toss out a window but end up smothering with cuddles instead. When I’m not writing, I’m usually “researching” (reading fantasy romance on my couch), overthinking my characters’ love lives, or avoiding my own to-do list.
